'''Color scheme E''' is a tentative color scheme to use for [[prime harmonics]] and potentially other intervals on the wiki. It aligns with various strong consensi about the colors associated with primes (most notably, "7 is blue"). Color Scheme E

Color scheme E

Color scheme E is a tentative color scheme to use for prime harmonics and potentially other intervals on the wiki. It aligns with various strong consensus opinions about the colors associated with primes (most notably, "7 is blue"). It is based on Hojo Minori's color scheme, in that it defines a gradient to be used throughout the octave and pulls colors from that.

The "neutral" color is to be used for background colors of e.g. text boxes, tables, etc.

The hex codes for Color Scheme E for the first 9 primes are the following.

Prime Color Color (Neutral)
2 EEEEEE 888888
3 EA4335 BB4E45
5 59CD1F 5B963D
7 3C4AD8 4C55AB

Tuning error color scheme

A color scheme for tuning error in relative cents.

Vector's proposal

0.0 <4 <9 <16 <25 <36 >36

The magenta color is used for the perfectly in-tune interval, usually the equave.
