* Always use regular English ordinals qualified: "sizewise major 2nd" or "mosdiatonic major 2nd". Otherwise it's too overloaded and confusing.
** '''Fcott's ordinals''' (Fcott is pronounced /fkɒt/ or /fkɑt/ of course) may be used for '''interval regions''' rather than diatonic intervals. These ordinals are: '''fecond''', '''fird''', '''forf''', '''fif''', '''fixf''', and '''fevenf'''. Use the -inter- infix for categorical interordinals, e.g. fecond-inter-fird.
** '''TAMNAMS terms''' may be used for '''diatonic interval classes''': 1-diastep, 2-diastep, 3-diastep, 4-diastep, 5-diastep, 6-diastep. Use major, neutral (for intervals exactly halfway between "major" and "minor" or exactly halfway "perfect" and aug/dim as well), "minor", "augmented", and "diminished" for qualities. Use e.g. "1-inter-2 diastep" for exact diatonic interordinals.
* Prefer to call things cent values, JI ratios, or m\n unless it's from a well-developed systematic naming convention like TAMNAMS.
